John Wayne Gacy, commonly known as the "Killer Clown", born on 17 March 1942, is regarded as the second most notorious serial killer of America. This American serial killer was also a rapist who sexually assaulted and killed more than thirty-three young men and teenage boys in Cook County, Illinois, between 1972 and 1978. John WayneGacy was sentenced to death on 13 March 1990 and was executed after fourteen years by lethal injection.
3-Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer
Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, commonly known as "Milwaukee Cannibal", born on 21 May 1960, comes on the number three in the list of the evilest serial killers in America. This American notorious serial killer was, in fact, a sex offender, who committed the murder, rape and even the dismemberment of at least seventeen boys and men. At the trial, Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was proved to be legally sane, he was beaten to death in prison on 28 November 1994.
4-Richard Ramirez
Richard Ramirez, commonly known as "Night Stalker", born on 29 February 1960, is also included in our list of the most notorious American serial killers of all time. He was, in fact, an evil serial killer, burglar, and rapist, especially his home invasion crime was highly publicized and terrorized the people. Richard Ramirez was no doubt an avowed Satanist who exhibited intense callousness and cruelty.
5-Gary Leon Ridgway
The fifth most notorious American serial killer of all time is Gary Leon Ridgway, commonly known as the "Green River Killer", born on 18 February 1949. He is actually regarded as the most prolific serial killer in America of all time because the number of his confirmed murders is forty-nine. Gary Leon Ridgway murdered numerous prostitutes and many other women and girls, he was arrested on 30 November 2001 and sentenced to live imprisonment without parole.
6-Herman Webster Mudgett
Herman Webster Mudgett, commonly known as "Dr. Henry Howard Holmes" or "H. H. Holmes", born on 16 May 1861, is considered the sixth most evil serial killer in America. He was in fact in the modern sense of the term, included in the list of the 1st documented serial killers. Herman Webster Mudgett opened a hotel to fulfill his vicious plans, this hotel was, in fact, the location of numerous murders, he confessed to twenty-seven murders.
7-Dennis Lynn Rader
Dennis Lynn Rader, commonly known as the "BTK Strangler" or "BTK Killer", born on 09 March 1945, is regarded as the seventh most notorious serial killer of America. He sent many letters to police, based on the description of the killings, "BTK" means "Blind, Torture, and Kill" was his notorious signature. Dennis Lynn Rader murdered ten people and he was arrested on 25 February 2005.
8-David Richard Berkowitz
David Richard Berkowitz, commonly known as "44 Caliber Killer" or the "Son of Sam", born on 01 June 1953, comes on the number eight in our list of the evilest American serial killers of all time. This notorious American serial killer basically convicted of a great number of shooting attacks with a 44 caliber Bulldog revolver. David Richard Berkowitz wounded seven people and killed six victims, he was arrested in August 1977.
9-Aileen Carol Wuornos
Aileen Carol Wuornos, born on 29 February 1956, is also included in our list of the most notorious serial killers of America of all time. This infamous serial killer killed seven men between 1989 and 1990 in Florida. Aileen Carol Wuornos claimed that all her victims had either attempted to rape her or raped her and that's why she committed all these murders in self-defense. Se was executed on 09 October 2002 by lethal injection.
Edmund Kemper, commonly known as "The Co-ed Butcher" or "The Co-ed Killer", born on 18 December 1948 is also one of the evilest American serial killers of all time. This American serial killer is also a necrophile, rapist, and cannibal. Edmund Kemper was no doubt an avowed Satanist who murdered even his mother and both of his paternal grandparents and after this he murdered and abducted numerous women, he was arrested on 24 April 1973.
